How do I get to the BooM base?

All you will need to do is book your flight to Alicante Airport, Spain.

The BooM base is approximately 40 minutes from the airport. Provide us with your flight details along with your BooM booking and we will do the rest.

How long does it take to fly to Alicante?

Flights from the UK to Alicante take around two hours and fifteen minutes, depending on where you are flying from.

Do I bring my own bike?

Absolutely! We encourage all of our guests to bring their own pride and joy. Travelling with your bike is easier than you think as all airlines cater for bike baggage and will charge you around €45 each way on the plane (depending on the airline).
If you'd rather travel light and borrow a bike, we can help arrange a bike for you, just let us know what you're looking for. We'll also have a fleet of bikes here in the near future if you'd rather hire one, so watch this space!

Do I need spares?

Of course you're welcome to bring any spares you think you'll need but we're very used to dealing with broken bikes and will try our best to get you back on the trails as soon as possible.

What is the time difference between the UK and the Costa Blanca?

The BooM base is an hour ahead of the UK.

What is the currency?

Alicante is based in mainland Spain, so you’ll need to take euros to pay for things.

What is the best time of year to visit the BooM base?

Alicante province is baked in sunshine during the summer months and is hottest in July and August, when the average temperature is 30°C, but it’s the winter months that really get BooMers excited, with the mercury wavering between 16°C and 20°C average.

What's included in the price?

Based on a 4 day trip, the price will include your chosen accommodation with breakfast, light lunch on full trail days, airport transfers, shuttles and qualified MTB guiding.

If there's anything else you need or want to do in addition to this, we're happy to help organise this for you, providing that we're able to do so. Just let us know what you're looking for and we will do our best to help. 

When not behind the bars

BooM Adventures provides a MTB break with a twist as there are plenty more activities to get excited about in the area. The BooM base is close to attractions like the Terra Mitica and Aqualandia theme parks and if that’s not up your street, perhaps a beach day, hiking, climbing, horse riding, sightseeing, lounging by the pool or spa days and treatments will be more your cup of tea and don’t forget the party hub Benidorm if you like to burn the midnight oil too. You may need to hire your own car to get to some places but it will definitely be worth it. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Insurance

We require you to have adequate insurance to cover you, your equipment and your belongings for all activities and sports you will be participating in. Arranging and paying for your insurance is your own responsibility.  We may ask to see evidence of your insurance prior to your departure.
